Turquoise fever.

Hello Sweeties,

First of all, I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday season with your loved ones and I would like to wish you all a magical, happy 2018, abundantly filled with love, that all your dreams and wishes may come true.

The post from today is all about turquoise.

Since I was a little girl, my parents tought me the healing forces of gemstones, those days I was mostly wearing rosequartz and amethyst, sometimes hematite, but turquoise bewitched me.

Turquoise with it’s rich vibrant colors, from blue to green and everything in between is a gemstone that not only makes any piece of jewellery stand out- I just love those big Navajo style rings- but also adds amazing benefits to the mind, body and soul.

Did you know that it’s probably one of the oldest used gemstones in history, believed to bring power and luck to several ancient cultures. Legend has it that the Native American Indians danced and rejoiced when the rains came. Their tears of joy mixed with the rain and seeped into Mother Earth to become Turquoise. The bleu turquoise should stand for father sky, the green one for mother earth. They not only made turquoise into jewelery and adornments, but also used it to help guard ancient burial sites.

There are so many different turquoise mines and they all deliver another kind of turquoise, different in color and composition, personally I absolutely adore Sleeping beauty turquoise, the deepest turquoise blue you can find . But whatever kind of turquoise you pick, this beautiful stone represents strength, peace and prosperity. And is a must have in addition to a bohemian wardrobe.

All these beautiful items are imported directly from America, where they still are made by local artisans. You can shop those items at The Harpo shop in Paris, which , and this I can assure you, really is turquoise heaven or online @ Harpo-paris

Do you have a favorite gemstone ?

Dance in the wind and follow your dreams,

Love and happiness
